Recipe Instructions of Tawa Pulao Recipe / Tasty Mumbai Street Tawa Pulao:

Preparation:

  1. Take about 3 glasses of water in a fresh pot and keep It on stove.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon full of salt to the water.
  3. Take 1.5 glasses of Leaned Basmati rice.
  4. Put the basmati rice into the water.
  5. Mix the rice well with the water and salt.
  6. Check the rice to see if it has properly cooked.
  7. When the rice is ready, drain off the excess water and let it rest.
  8. Take a fresh pan and add 1 tablespoon of oil to it.
  9. Add 2 teaspoons of butter to the oil.
  10. Take 1 Green Chilly and add it to the pan.
  11. Add 1 teaspoon of ginger (shredded) to the mix.
  12. Add 1 teaspoon of garlic to the pan.
  13. Sauté the ingredients well together.
  14. Chop and add 1 onion to the mix.
  15. Add 1 chopped carrot to the pan.
  16. Chop and add 1 capsicum to the pan.
  17. Stir fry the vegetables for about 3 minutes.
  18. Add 1 chopped tomato to the mix.
  19. Add 1 teaspoon of salt to the pan.
  20. Sauté the ingredients inside the pan well.
  21. Take some boiled potatoes, peas and cauliflower and add them to the pan.
  22. Put 1 teaspoon Kasuri Methi to the pan.
  23. Add a handful of coriander leaves to the pan.
  24. Take 2 teaspoon of Pav Bhaji Masala and add it to the pan.
  25. Let the vegetables cook. They will start soaking in the delicious flavours.
  26. Add ½ a glass of water to the pan.
  27. Mix it well.
  28. Now its time to mash the vegetables into small chunks for better texture. Take a large spatula and press the vegetables gently.
  29. Now cook the mashed vegetables on low flame, stir to mix them together.
  30. Add another teaspoon of Pav Bhaji masala to the pan.
  31. Add 1 teaspoon butter.
  32. Put 1 teaspoon Kashmiri Mirchi Powder to the mix.
  33. Mix the spices well with the mashed vegetables.
  34. Now add the basmati rice that you boiled earlier.
  35. Mix it gently with the vegetables till the rice is evenly spread throughout.
  36. While serving ensure you serve both parts of the dish, namely the vegetables and the rice.
  37. Serve it with fresh cut lemon. Your Hot and delicious Tawa Pulao is ready to be served.
