Recipe Instructions of  Pressure Cooker Mutton Curry:

Preparation:

  1. Take a pressure cooker. Place the pressure cooker on the stove. Add 2 tablespoons of oil to the pressure cooker.
  2. Put ½ tablespoon of Shahi Jeera in the pressure cooker.
  3. Chop 1 big sized onion finely. Put the finely chopped onion in the pressure cooker.
  4. Fry the ingredients of the pressure cooker on a medium flame for 4 minutes.
  5. Now add 2 tablespoons of ginger garlic paste to the pressure cooker.
  6. Sauté the ingredients of the pressure cooker well.
  7. It is time to add 1 kg of mutton to the pressure cooker.
  8. Cut 1 green Mirchi into 4 pieces. Add the pieces of green Mirchi to the pressure cooker.
  9. Add 2 tablespoons of salt to the pressure cooker.
  10. Add ¼ tablespoon of turmeric to the pressure cooker.
  11. Mix the ingredients of the pressure cooker well.
  12.  Fry the ingredients of the pressure cooker on high flame for 3 minutes.
  13. Pour 1 glass of water into the pressure cooker.
  14. Mix the ingredients well.
  15. Close the lid of the pressure cooker while the ingredients heat up.
  16. Wait till 4 whistles of the pressure cooker.
  17. Pull the whistle up after the 4th whistle to make sure that excess steam moves out of the pressure cooker.
  18.  Open the lid of the pressure cooker.
  19. Add 2 tablespoons of laal Mirchi powder to the pressure cooker.
  20. Now add 2 tablespoons of Garam Masala to the pressure cooker.
  21. Put 1 tablespoon of Kasuri Methi in the pressure cooker.
  22. Add another 1 tablespoon of chopped ginger to the pressure cooker.
  23. Mix the ingredients of the pressure cooker well.
  24. Cook the ingredients for 10 minutes.

Note:
• If you do not have readymade ginger garlic paste, you can follow this simple recipe to make it at home.
• Dry the washed garlic. Also, remove the peel of garlic and chop the ginger into small pieces.
• Add ginger, garlic pieces, turmeric, salt, and oil to a blender jar. Blend them well.
• Check if the mutton is cooked properly by pressing it with a spoon and see if it is soft.
• Do pull up the whistle of the pressure cooker after 4 whistles (step 17). It helps to avoid any accidents that can be caused due to the presence of excessive hot steam inside the pressure cooker.
