Recipe Instructions of Onion Samosa Pavakkai Poriyal Recipe:
Preparation of Pavakkai Poriyal:
- Slice 4 Bitter Gourd or Karela, and add them to a bowl.
- Remove the middle portion of the diced Karela pieces.
- Add 1 teaspoon of ginger garlic paste to the bowl.
- Add 1 teaspoon salt to the bitter gourd.
- Put ½ a teaspoon of pepper powder to the mix.
- Now take ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder and spread it evenly in the bowl.
- Put 1 teaspoon of Mirchi powder in the bowl.
- Add 1 teaspoon n Garam Masala to the mix.
- Squeeze out 1 lemon inside the bowl.
- Add 2 teaspoon of Corn flour to the mix.
- Add 2 teaspoons of Maida Flour to the bowl.
- Put 2 teaspoon of Gram Flour into the bowl.
- Add 1/3rd cup of curd into the mix.
- Mix the ingredients together.
- Make sure all the pieces of the bitter gourd are covered in this covering.
- Deep fry the bitter gourd in hot oil.
- Stir in constant intervals.
- Fry on medium flame.
- The bitter gourd changes colour to golden brown. Their covering develops a crunchy texture.
- Take them out when ready.
