Preparation of Mysore Bonda:
- Take a fresh bowl and add 1 cup Maida flour to it.
- Add ½ a teaspoon of Green Mirchi to it.
- Take half a handful curry leaves and add them to the bowl.
- Add ¼ teaspoon of salt to the mix.
- Put 1/4th of a teaspoon Baking Soda into the bowl.
- Add ½ teaspoon Cumin seeds to the bowl.
- Pour 1 tablespoon of oil into the bowl.
- Add 2 tablespoons of curd into the bowl.
- Combine these ingredients well.
- Add water that is enough to make a consistent batter.
- Mix in the water for 2 minutes.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes. This is where the fragmentation will make it airy.
- The batter is ready. Take a small ball worth of batter.
- Put it in hot oil for deep frying.
- Flip to fry from both sides. Set the flame to medium setting.
- Keep stirring.
- Take out and serve when they take a golden brown colour. Your delicious Mysore Bonda is ready.
