Recipe Instructions of Motichoor ke Ladoo or Boondi ke Ladoo Homemade:

Preparation:

  1. Take 1 cup besan flour.
  2. Sieve it into a bowl.
  3. Add a few drops (about 1/8th of a teaspoon) of Kesar orange Red colour to the flour.
  4. Add sufficient amount of water so as to make a consistent batter.
  5. Mix the water well with the flour.
  6. Make sure there are no lumps in your batter.
  7. Remember that batter of perfect texture has a uniform consistency.
  8. Take an oil strainer with small holes.
  9. Pour some batter on the oil strainer and put the passing balls of dough into frying oil.
  10. Fry these balls on medium flame.
  11. Sieve out the oil.
  12. Boondi for your delicious laddus is ready.
  13. Take a fresh pan and add 2/3 cup of sugar to it.
  14. Add 1 cup water into the sugar.
  15. Mix them well.
  16. Let the sugar dissolve to form a syrup.
  17. Let the water boil for 3 minutes.
  18. Add ½ tablespoon Lemon Juice to the pan.
  19. Our sugar syrup is ready,
  20. Add the fried Boondi into our sugar syrup.
  21. Cook for about 3 minutes to combine it well with the syrup.
  22. Turn off the stove and let the sweetened boondi rest for 15 minutes.
  23. Uncover the lid. Boondi has absorbed the syrup completely.
  24. Add 2 tablespoon of watermelon seeds to the pan.
  25. Add 2 tablespoons of ghee to the mix.
  26. Mix it well.
  27. The perfect mixture for you perfect laddus is ready.
  28. Take small portions of this mixture and give them a circular shape
  29. Repeat the same for more.
  30. Your ethereal Boondi ke Ladoo dessert is ready to be served.
