Countless memories are made over a cup of evening tea. Be it a plain old rainy day or a day when India plays in the world cup, tea is found to be the common beverage that brings everyone together. Especially when it comes to students or office workers, the importance of a cup of evening tea cannot be overstated. But one must ask himself (or herself), what is tea without a plate of warm biscuits.

We at team Puviya understand the importance of your evening tea and hence we have brought you today something that is a little bit crispy, a little bit creamy and all the  dreamier when served with a warm cup of tea. Today, Puviya brings you a recipe for special Atta biscuits. These Atta biscuits are a healthier alternative to the biscuits that are bought and sold at the markets as there are made out of wheat flour and not refined flour (maida).

NOTES:
• To increase the Yumi-ness of your biscuits, try to keep your dough soft and foldable.
• Making dough balls (before flattening and giving it a biscuit like shape) with wet hands often provides more softness and richness to the dough.
• Ensure you don’t overheat or overcook the biscuits.
• The amount of ghee added can be varied according to experience. If you feel you need to add more ghee or maybe a bit less ghee, feel free to do so. After all tea drinkers would agree that experience matters!
