Let’s get started without wasting time of this tasty crispy snacks recipe with following ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • Maida or plain flour      1cup
  • Rice flour                        ½ cup
  • Suji or rava                     1/3cup
  • Salt                                   ¼ tsp
  • Pepper powder              ¼ tsp
  • Red chilli powder         ¼ tsp
  • Hing or asoeftida           a pinch
  • Fresh coriander leaves  a half handful
  • Ghee                                1 tsp
  • Water as required (to kneed dough)
  • Oil                                    to fry

Recipe Instructions of Crispy Snacks Recipe:

Preparation:

  1. To start with, take a cup of maida or plain flour.
  2. Add ½ cup of rice flour to it.
  3. Also add 1/3 cup of suji or rava.
  4. Mix them altogether and sieve well.
  5. To this, add ¼ tsp of salt or as per taste.
  6. Then add ¼ tsp of pepper powder.
  7. Add ½ tsp of red chilli powder to spice up the flavour.
  8. Add a pich of hing or asoeftida, but don’t add too much of it.
  9. Put half a handful of fresh coriander leaves.
  10. Add a tsp of ghee to the mixture.
  11. Combine all the dry ingredients with ghee well by rubbing the mixture between your palms.
  12. To this add water, as required, and kneed a dough.
  13. Make a smooth dough.
  14. Dust some flour on the workplace.
  15. Take a portion from the dough and roll into a medium thin chapati.
  16. Don’t worry if it’s not perfectly round.
  17. Dust some flour over it.
  18. Drip some oil onto it.
  19. Now place another rolled chapati over it.
  20. Repeat the same process and keep layering.
  21. Dust some flour and make a roll out of it.
  22. Now roll it gently without applying much pressure.
  23. Cut it into equal parts.
  24. Take a slice and press it slightly with your index finger.
  25. Now run the rolling pin over the slice light handedly.
  26. Drop into them hot oil one by one and fry.
  27. Flip over and fry both the sides.
  28. Fry them until golden brown in color.
  29. Take them out and put them onto a tissue paper to absorb excess oil.
  30. Your crispy and crunchy lip smacking snack is ready to be munched on.
  31. Enjoy them with sauces or dips of your choice.
