Recipe Instructions of Cooker Chicken Biryani:
Preparation:
1: Light the stove. Place a cooker on it and add 3 teaspoons of ghee.
2: Pour 1 tablespoon of oil.
3: Add 1 teaspoon of Shahjeera to the cooker.
4: Put 4 cloves (laung) into the cooker.
5: Add 1 cinnamon (dalchini) to the cooker.
6: Put 3 bay leaves (tej patta).
7: Chop 1 onion and add it to the cooker. You need not chop it finely.
8: Add 1 green Mirchi.
9: Sauté the ingredients well.
10: Now, add 1 teaspoon of ginger garlic paste.
11: Fry this mixture at a medium flame.
12: It is time to add the chicken pieces to the cooker.
13: Add ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder.
14: Add 1 teaspoon of salt. Don’t put too much salt. Make sure the amount is just right.
15: Add 3 teaspoons of Mirchi powder. If you like it spicy, you can add more according to your taste.
16: Add 1 teaspoon of coriander (dhaniya) powder.
17: Add 3 teaspoons of Biryani Masala.
18: Pour ½ cup of curd.
19: Put half handful of mint leaves (pudina) to give the biryani an awesome odor.
20: Put half handful of coriander leaves (dhaniya patta).
21: Squeeze half a lemon into the cooker.
22: Mix everything well. Make sure that the ingredients lying at the bottom, don’t be at the bottom all the time. They might burn and stick to the cooker bottom.
23: Cook for 3 minutes.
24: Cook for some more time on medium flame until you can smell the delicious chicken.
25: It is time to add 1.5 glasses of clean and soaked Basmati rice.
26: add 2 glasses of water.
27: Put 1 teaspoon of salt.
28: Mix it lightly in the cooker. Make sure you do not spill out things.
29: Close the lid of the cooker.
30: Let it cook on a medium flame until it whistles twice.
31: You may release the extra vapor by lifting the whistle of the cooker.
32: Open the cooker.
33: Add ½ teaspoon of ghee.
