Recipe Instructions of Mutton Masala Recipe :

Preparation of Mutton Masala:

  1. Take the mutton and place it in a fresh bowl.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of salt to the mutton.
  3. Add 1/3rd of cup curd to the bowl.
  4. Mix it well with the mutton.
  5. Cover with a lid and let it marinate for about 20 minutes.
  6. To a fresh pan, add 1 teaspoon of ghee.
  7. Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the pan.
  8. Place 2 Bay Leaves in the centre of the pan.
  9. Add 2 pieces of cinnamon to the pan.
  10. Put 2 cloves into the mix.
  11. Add 3 cardamom seeds to the pan.
  12. Stir these ingredients.
  13. Add 1 cup full of sliced onion into this pan.
  14. Sauté the vegetables well.
  15. Add 1 teaspoon full of Ginger Garlic Paste to the mix.
  16. Stir it well.
  17. The onion will change its colour to golden brown after cooking.
  18. Put the marinated mutton into the pan.
  19. Stir the mutton on medium flame so that it mixes well with other flavours.
  20. Cook the ingredients in the pan for 5 minutes.
  21. Cover the pan with a lid and let the ingredients cook for another 10 minutes.
  22. Uncover the lid to add another ½ teaspoon of salt.
  23. Add ¼ teaspoon of turmeric powder to the pan.
  24. Add 1 teaspoon coriander powder to the mix.
  25. Add 1 teaspoon Mirchi Powder to the mix.
  26. Add 1 teaspoon Mutton Masala to the pan.
  27. Mix these ingredients well.
  28. Cook for about 7 minutes.
  29. Add 1 small tomato worth tomato paste into the pan.
  30. Mix it well.
  31. Add 1.5 glasses of water to the pan.
  32. Allow the mutton to cook for another 10-12 minutes.
  33. Add 2 teaspoons of Garam Masala to the pan.
  34. Add some coriander leaves for garnishing.
  35. About after 5 minutes of garnishing, sauté the mutton well with a spatula.
