Ingredients for Peri Peri Masala Powder

  • Bird’s Eye Dry Red Chilies – 10 to 12 (for heat)

  • Kashmiri Red Chilies – 4 (for rich color, mild spice)

  • Black Pepper – 1 tsp

  • Paprika or Smoked Chili Powder – 1 tbsp

  • Garlic Powder – 1 tsp

  • Onion Powder – 1 tsp

  • Oregano (dried) – 1 tsp

  • Thyme (dried) – ½ tsp

  • Lemon Zest (dried & powdered) – 1 tsp

  • Sugar – 1 tsp

  • Salt – 1 tsp


Preparation Method

  1. Roast the Chilies & Pepper
    On a low flame, dry roast bird’s eye red chilies, Kashmiri chilies, and black pepper until crisp and aromatic.

  2. Grind into Powder
    Let them cool completely, then grind into a fine powder.

  3. Add Seasoning Mix
    Blend in paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, lemon zest, sugar, and salt. Mix well.

  4. Store Properly
    Transfer to an airtight container. This masala stays fresh for 1–2 months.
