Ingredients for Instant Chat Masala

  • Amchur (Dry Mango Powder) – 2 tbsp

  • Black Salt – 2 tbsp

  • Cumin Seeds – 2 tbsp

  • Coriander Seeds – 1 tbsp

  • Fennel Seeds – 1 tbsp

  • Black Peppercorns – 1 tbsp

  • Ajwain (Carom Seeds) – 1 tsp

  • Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp

  • Dry Ginger Powder – 1 tsp

  • Regular Salt – 1 tsp (optional, adjust to taste)

  • Asafoetida (Hing) – ΒΌ tsp


Preparation Method

  1. Dry Roast the Whole Spices – Gently roast cumin seeds, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, black pepper, and ajwain on low flame until aromatic.

  2. Cool Completely – Let the roasted spices cool before grinding to preserve aroma.

  3. Grind to Fine Powder – Blend the roasted spices into a smooth powder.

  4. Add Flavor Powders – Mix in amchur, black salt, dry ginger, red chilli powder, hing, and regular salt. Stir well to combine.

  5. Store Fresh – Transfer to an airtight jar. Stays fresh for 2–3 months.
