Ingredients

  • 2 tsp Sabja Seeds (Basil Seeds)
  • 1 Lemon (Juiced) 🍋
  • 1 Green Chilli (Slit) 🌶️
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • A pinch of Salt
  • Ice Cubes (as needed) ❄️
  • 1 Glass Cold Water

Instructions

  1. Soak the Sabja Seeds:

    • Take 2 tsp Sabja seeds and add them to a small bowl.
    • Pour water over them and let them soak for 5 minutes until they swell.
  2. Prepare the Lemon Juice:

    • Slice the lemon into two halves.
    • Squeeze the juice from half a lemon into a cup.
    • Remove any seeds that may have fallen into the juice.
  3. Prepare the Drink:

    • Take a tall glass and fill it halfway with cold water.
    • Drop the remaining half of the lemon into the glass.
    • Cut the ends of a green chilli and slit it slightly.
    • Place the slit green chilli into the glass.
  4. Mix the Ingredients:

    • Pour the fresh lemon juice into the glass.
    • Add 2 tsp sugar and a pinch of salt.
    • Mix well until the sugar dissolves.
  5. Add the Final Touches:

    • Add a few ice cubes to chill the drink.
    • Stir in 1.5 tsp of the soaked Sabja seeds.
  6. Shake for a Uniform Taste:

    • Cover the glass with another glass or a lid.
    • Shake it well to mix all the flavors evenly.

  1. To prepare the Sarbath, take about 2 teaspoon Sabja seeds and add them to a cup.

  2. Add some water to this cup containing the seeds.
